Ocean Week Canada

Ocean Week Canada is an annual celebration of the ocean from coast to coast to coast. It takes place June 1-8 each year, centering around World Ocean Day (June 8).

Through public events and activities held in cities and communities across the country, we recognize the important role the ocean plays in our everyday lives and how local waterways connect us all with the ocean and each other. Together, we raise public awareness and connection to coastal areas, the ocean, and watersheds in Canada. We inspire action to help ensure a healthy ocean for current and future generations.
